    Jeffrey Babcock
Jeff Babcock was an original partner in the formation of STRATMOR's predecessor company in 1981. Prior to this time, he was with the Robert A. McNeil Company, where he co-managed the mortgage banking subsidiary. Previously, Mr. Babcock was a co-founder of PMI Mortgage Insurance Company in San Francisco beginning in 1973.

During his years at PMI, he was responsible for national sales, lender marketing and secondary marketing support services. He participated in the design and development of the industry's first mortgage conduit and the original mortgage pool insurance product for the Bank of America's pioneering mortgage-backed pass through security.

Mr. Babcock's financial services career began with Wells Fargo Bank in 1967, followed by the start-up of On-Line Decisions, an entrepreneurial subsidiary of Inland Steel Company, which developed some of the first interactive financial models for corporate America. His acquired his initial mortgage banking experience at Security Pacific Mortgage in Denver.

His lengthy and diverse background in mortgage banking enables Mr. Babcock to bring to the firm an exceptional knowledge of the industry and its participants, and spearheads STRATMOR's M&A transaction business. Based in San Francisco, Mr. Babcock received an undergraduate degree in Economics and an MBA from the University of California at Berkeley.

Jim Cameron
Jim Cameron joined the STRATMOR Group in March, 1999. With STRATMOR, Jim has participated in a variety of mortgage banking assignments ranging from strategic planning, operational reviews, merger and acquisition transactions and corporate valuation. In addition to the consulting and M&A work, Jim manages all aspects of the MBA/STRATMOR Peer Group roundtable program for STRATMOR. The Peer Group program has over 60 participating firms, including 8 of the top 10 conforming lenders and 6 of the top 10 subprime lenders in the country.

Prior to joining STRATMOR, Jim served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of NF Investments, Inc. based in Atlanta from 1993 to 1999. During his tenure, NFI was one of the top three conforming and nonconforming lenders in the State of Georgia. His responsibilities at NFI included managing Companion Servicing Company, LLC, an affiliated servicer of conforming and non-conforming residential mortgage loans.

Jim started his career with Arthur Andersen & Co. in Tampa, Florida, on the audit staff where he had supervisory responsibilities for a variety of audit clients including financial services and mortgage banking firms.

He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accountancy. Based in Atlanta, Cameron is a CPA in the State of Georgia.

Matthew Lind
Matt Lind joined the STRATMOR Group in 1988 with the expansion of the firm into consulting and advisory services. Based in Boston, Dr. Lind is widely known throughout the industry as a leading strategic thinker, as an innovator in the financial analysis of mortgage operations and mortgage products and as an articulate and provocative speaker.

Over the past ten years, Matt has led dozens of major strategic planning and operations consulting assignments performed by STRATMOR, including the highly impactful strategic review for the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. In addition, he has recently been responsible for implementing several highly successful direct marketing customer retention programs for major mortgage banking clients.

Prior to joining STRATMOR, Dr. Lind was Senior Vice President for Diversified Operations at MONY Financial Services (New York) where he had executive responsibility for all major non-insurance businesses, including mortgage banking. Prior to MONY, he headed corporate planning and development at The Travelers where he led and oversaw Traveler’s entry, through acquisitions, into mortgage banking and securities brokerage.

Dr. Lind’s career in financial services started in Washington, D.C. where he was Executive Director of the Pension Benefits Guaranty Corporation during the Ford and Carter Administrations. Based in Boston, Dr. Lind is a graduate of M.I.T. and holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard.

He resides in Hingham, Massachusetts with his wife Meg and their two children, Katie and Sam.

Bob Meceda
Bob Meceda was a founding partner of STRATMOR. Mr. Meceda concentrates on the development and execution of strategic plans and on corporate acquisition programs in support of those plans. In addition to strong negotiating skills, Mr. Meceda’s experience as a senior executive and operating manager enable him to provide STRATMOR clients with mature judgment regarding people, marketing and organizational issues. He is a frequent guest speaker on industry trends at conferences and conventions of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, the Independent Community Bankers of America and the Associated Credit Bureaus. Mr. Meceda also lectures to real estate and mortgage industry groups on such subjects as sales management, strategic planning and project management.

Previously, he was President of the residential and commercial mortgage banking subsidiaries of the McNeil Company. He built the residential mortgage bank from twelve to an eventual twenty-seven offices throughout California.

Prior to joining McNeil, Mr. Meceda held CEO or COO positions in two large health insurance companies. His introduction to financial services occurred in the early 70’s when he was with Electronic Data Systems; and later worked closely with Ross Perot during Perot’s venture onto Wall Street. Among other assignments, he was responsible for managing an international securities brokerage network of 144 offices and 2,800 Registered Representatives. Mr. Meceda has been approved as a securities industry principal and has held a real estate license in the States of California and Virginia.

Prior to EDS, he spent seven years in the space program and participated in negotiations for the first Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty.

Mr. Meceda is based in the Washington, D.C. area. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and earned a graduate degree in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
